On March 14, 2026, 18 of our vibrant S1 students branched out beyond the classroom to participate in the S1 Seedling Adventure Day Camp at the Sai Wan Ho Youth Outreach Jockey Club. This action-packed day was a masterclass in experiential learning, where students engaged in a variety of high-energy, hands-on activities like the rhythm-based "Big Foot", the strategic "Land Rowing”, and agile maneuvers on scooters and with pool noodles. These challenges were designed to cultivate essential generic skills, transforming the group into a powerhouse of communication and collective problem-solving. As they navigated each task, we saw leadership qualities bloom and teamwork take center stage, but the true "growth spurt" occurred during the breathtaking abseiling session. Facing a daunting vertical drop, our students demonstrated remarkable resilience; by leaning on the enthusiastic peer support of their schoolmates, they learned to transform fear into a positive, "can-do" attitude. It was a day of immense bravery and joy, proving that when these young seedlings stand together, there is no height they cannot reach!
