Our recent UK Language and Culture Study Tour, held from July 5 to July 14, provided 20 students with an enriching experience of the United Kingdom's rich history and vibrant culture.
The adventure began at Buckingham Palace, where they witnessed the Changing of the Guard. We explored iconic sites such as Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and St. Paul’s Cathedral, etc. Strolling along the River Thames, the magnificent Tower of London, Big Ben and the London Eye left students unforgettable memories.
At Borough Market and Leadenhall Market, students engaged with local vendors while sampling international cuisine. We also visited the British Museum, and the British Library, marveling at priceless artifacts. The tour continued across the Millennium Bridge to Tate Modern and the Shakespeare Globe Theatre.
The highlight was visiting the prestigious universities of Cambridge and Oxford, as well as Bath and Stonehenge. To conclude, students enjoyed the musical "The Lion King," deepening their appreciation for British culture, history, and the arts.
