The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) held a "Traditional Chinese Performing Arts" event for junior form students and parents on 4th July. It showcased two extraordinary performances, highlighting the richness and beauty of traditional Chinese performing arts. One of the performances featured the mesmerizing art of "Bian Lian" (Face Changing), a traditional technique that captivates audiences with its rapid mask changes, while the other performance showcased traditional Chinese acrobatics.
The interactive segments during the event further enhanced the experience for the participating students and parents. They had the opportunity to actively participate and engage with the performers, which created a dynamic and immersive atmosphere.
The feedback from students and parents has been overwhelmingly positive. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the PTA for their dedication and hard work in organizing this remarkable event. It provided a unique opportunity for our school community to appreciate the cultural heritage of traditional Chinese performing arts. The performances not only entertained, but also deepened the audience's understanding and appreciation of this beautiful art form.
