“Try My Best, Reach the Crest”--School Commencement Ceremony
The 2016-2017 School Commencement Ceremony was held in Yuen Long Theatre on 1st September. Our Principal, Mr. KONG first welcomed the S1 students and hoped that they could adapt to the new learning environment smoothly and quickly. Mr. KONG also mentioned the brilliant HKDSE results of 2016, with 53% of our S6 graduates being offered a degree course in local universities.
Mr. KONG then informed all students that the foci for this academic year would be our school motto: Wisdom, Virtue, Honesty, Progress”. “Wisdom” is to acquire wisdom from academic pursuits. “Virtue” is to love others and serve the community. “Honesty” is to be an honest and upright person. “Progress” is to strive for improvements in all respects. Mr. KONG hoped that all students could bear the core values of the school in mind and achieve their goals successfully. Finally, Mr. KONG announced the motto for the year—“Try My Best, Reach the Crest” to encourage students to work hard and attain their own apex in the new school year.
