Under the NSS Curriculum, "Other Learning Experiences" (OLE) is one of the three components that complement the NSS subjects, including Applied Learning.

Building on the foundation of the five Essential Learning Experiences in the Basic Education (P1-S3), schools would offer students a range of OLE opportunities both within and outside normal school hours encouraging the students to participate in the five areas of OLE, namely Moral and Civic Education, Community Service, Career-related Experiences, Aesthetic Development and Physical Development.

為促進學生的全人發展，「其他學習經歷」是在新高中課程下三個組成部分的其中重要一環，以補足新高中的科目，包括應用學習。

建基於基礎教育中(小一至中三)的五種基要學習經歷，學校會在正規課時之內和之外，為學生提供不同的「其他學習經歷」機會，當中包括：德育及公民教育、社會服務、與工作有關的經驗、藝術發展和體育發展。
