On 23rd October, 63 S.6 Geography taking students joined a town study to Tsuen Wan. During the walk, they observed and examined the land uses of the 26 labelled zones and evaluated the outlook of each zone in terms of building materials and infrastructure. Also they measured the noise level and air quality at each check point. After that, they discussed the problem of urban decay of each zone, proposed possible measures and elaborated on the concept of sustainable development with reference to the current condition of Tsuen Wan. The trip ended at Tsuen Wan West Rail Station with joy.
