To widen students’ global perspectives through cultural exchange, seventy-two students and eight teacher-escorts participated in the Study Tour to Seoul held from 31st March 2012 to 3rd April 2012.
The four-day study tour is beneficial to the whole person development of the student-delegates. The excursions have successfully enhanced students’ understanding about the Ecosystem Conservation in Korea and the historical and cultural development of the Koreans. Most importantly, through the school visit to Junghwa High School, the student-delegates could compare the education systems between Hong Kong and Korea. The face-to-face exchange programme between our students and their counterparts in South Korea was a valuable occasion to share their learning and living experiences. Above all, the study tour was a good opportunity to train the independence as well as problem solving and collaboration skills of the participants.
