October 19th was a hot and sunny Sunday. We had our field study at Ma Shi Chau Geopark. 18 S.5 & S.6 students studying Geography joined the trip. During the trip we observed the ancient tuff and sedimentary rock formations with the coastal landforms. We also studied the geological characteristics of the Island, like unique compositions and terrains by earth movements. We discussed the human impacts on the island along the trail. In the afternoon, we returned home joyfully. Thanks to our alumni who served as helpers!
