On October 27, the Hiking Club of our school organized a field trip to study the land use along the Pedestrian Escalator in Central District. Twenty-two S.7 students joined the trip. We walked from IFC via the SOHO district to Robinson Road. We found land use was changing continuously and then we studied whether the Burgess Model was applicable or not. In the afternoon, we walked around in Sheung Wan to observe and look for reasons for the existing land uses and urban problems.
It was an educational and joyful trip in the city!
